Terai
Toys Co., more popularly known as Daiya, was an important
toy maker from Tokyo that was active through the postwar period.
Terai appears to have been most active from the late 1950s
through the early 1970s, after which they disappeared from
view. The company's current disposition is unknown, but it
is presumed to have succumbed to marketplace pressures of
the early 1970s period.
